The bandoneon-decacorde ensemble "Duo Dryades," which has been active since 2002, is formed by two virtuoso musicians, Mari Mäntylä and Kristina Kuusisto.

The ensemble has a broad repertoire that spans from tango to contemporary music, and the duo collaborates with both Finnish and international composers to create new repertoire for their unique composition.

Duo Dryades has been actively performing in Finland and abroad. The ensemble has participated in various music festivals in Finland since its inception, including the Kuhmo Chamber Music Festival, Musiikin aika, Kemiö, Oulainen, Hauho, and Kokkola Winter Harmonica festivals, as well as festivals across Europe, Lebanon, and China. They have also given numerous concerts and concert series in various parts of France.

The duo has performed on radio and television in Finland, Russia, and France. Duo Dryades has also appeared as soloists with orchestras.

The duo's debut album Kirmari was released in 2005 and received positive reviews from critics. Their second album Speira (Alba) was nominated for an Emma Award in the classical albums category in 2011. The duo released their third album Le Meneuse de Tortues d’Or (Mayrecords) in 2014.

The duo premiered the double concerto Aeterna composed by Pekka Jalkanen specifically for them, with the Keski-Pohjanmaan Chamber Orchestra in 2011. They also performed the same concerto with Sinfonietta Lentua in 2014.
