Musician and actress Sanni Reilin has composed, written, adapted and produced her unique, somber music herself. Influences from old Finnish schlager music, the 70's singing movement and Latin American tones can be heard in her timeless pop rock songs.
The debut album set to be released in the Fall of 2024 has been made in collaboration with the audio engineer Jyri Sariola, who was the assistant producer for the album. The expressive ensemble includes the guitarist Otto Porkkala, the double bassist Sami Jaakkola and the drummer Erik Fräki. The album's last song Iltasatu was written together with Sanni's sister Aava Reilin.
The themes of an inner child's voice, Hämeenlinna East Side, alienation and Bolivia's distant mountains repeat in the lyrics. Sanni's unique singing has old-timey sound, and her self-expression is powerful, physical and rough.
