Peter Joukainen from Pirkanmaa is a singer-songwriter who tours everywhere in Finland. He has released music and toured since 2007. He released his third studio album Nuori Mies in November 2023.
Joukainen's own work is storytelling pop music sung in Finnish, with the lyrics being the core part. As a songwriter Joukainen emphasizes lyrics. His sources of inspiration include Juha Tapio, Pauli Hanhiniemi and Timo Kiiskinen, among others.
Peter has around one thousand gigs' worth of experience as a performer. He tours alone with his guitar, as a duo with his wife Laura or as a trio with looper guitarist Mikko Huuhtanen included. They aren't a party band, but they understand how to create the right atmosphere.
