Violinist Linda Suolahti has proven to be an important pathfinder in the field of Finnish art music and has made an impression with her courage as an event organizer and a program builder. Suolahti is interested in the themes equality in music, which can be seen in her career as an artist.
She has founded the popular Kokonais festival in Janakkala and lead the multitalented Caisa Classequal concert series in Helsinki.
In 2023 Linda recorded her debut album, which contains unrecorded Finnish compositions from female composers, for the Alba Records label.
Suolahti, who has a master's degree in music and works as a free artist, has also lead an impressive career in the field of orchestra, performing as the principal and the concertmaster for many orchestras intercontinentally, also specializing in leading an orchestra without a conductor.
