Juha Saunala is an advocate of organic music all the way. Authentic playing, musicianship and humanity. The development of the instruments in his studio seems to have stopped in 1983 at the latest. No ones and zeros, but painstakingly analog taken as far as possible. No artificial intelligence or autotune. He aims for whole takes and concentrates on the source sounds. With the computer, the aim is mainly to press rec, stop & play. Juha is not interested in making his music supernaturally clean, but it can be a little bit ugly, it can have a human feel and sounds of playing. The main point is to find a feeling and get some magic in the can.
